A Trip Home
|
Rob and I both graduated from Riverview Rural Highschool, where we didn't meet. Rob was class of '90 and I was class of '91. We have a hamster (Buffy) and a cat named Moo.

We've been living in Halifax since we were married 5 years ago at the Rockinghorse Inn in Sydney. Although we love it here in Halifax, we like to get home to visit as often as possible (which usually isn't very often.) I am an office manager for a beauty supply company called Goldwell Atlantic. Rob is a counsellor for the Department of Community Services.
We play tennis, camp and try to keep busy during our time off. We've travelled alot, trying to make a trip somewhere new each year. I love my job - its very exciting and fast-paced. We are expecting our first child in March 2001.
My father's name is Rick Eagles. He is originally from Glace Bay. Mom's name is Debbie White, originally from Reserve Mines. They both still live in Sydney.
My husband Rob and I had to leave Cape Breton when we were in our early twenties to look for work in Halifax. We found jobs right away, and couldn't believe the amount of work available - employers look specifically for Capers on the mainland! They know we're all hard workers!
