My name is Maegan MacDonald. I am a twenty-one years old. I was born and raised in Reserve Mines. I graduated from Glace Bay High School in 1998, I graduated from UCCB in 2001, and then moved to Oromocto NB. I really enjoy NB especially Oromocto because alot of the people I meet here are Capers. I plan on getting my social work degree and as soon as that is done I will be back on the rock.
I am currently working at OCRI it is a home for mentally challenged adults, I really enjoy it and it is challenging to say the least, but I really do enjoy it. My boss is from Cape Breton which makes it better cause I think we have a unique sense of humor and she understands it.

Although I am not as far away as most I still find it hard to get home with work and everything. To say why I love Cape Breton would have to be the people. I have friends there which are not like any other. I didn't have the appreciation for Cape Breton I have now until I left. It is so great to go home now and see people and just smell the ocean, this stuff I always took for granted.
