I was born in Inverness, grew up in
I work as a private contractor doing consulting work for companies seeking to market food products in Canada, the U.S. and Australia. I also am a business consultant to small businesses and teach computer courses for entertainment.
My father was John Hughie MacIsaac (Little John Hughie) from 'the Banks' in Inverness. He was a coal miner and died in 1948. My mother, (little Mary) an Acadian from Campbelton, NB, worked as a nurse's aide in St. Mary's hispital in Inverness until 1952. She died of cancer in 1975. I have 5 brothers and 5 sisters. 3 brothers and two sisters live in 'the Hawk', the rest are spread across the country. My two sons live and work(!) in Halifax.
