Chuck Edwards

Trying to find and reacquaint with childhood friends from the late 40s and early 50s

Just completed a manuscript for a novel about life in Glace Bay following WWII and have the first 8 chapters published on the web and have sold over 1,000 copied of the finished manuscript. Now the rush is on to get the manuscript published and they want pictures. It is called SNOW SHADOWS and you can find it on www.comicshack.com

I was born in Glace Bay in 1938 and lived there until 1955 when I graduated from St. Anne's High School. From there moved to Boston and attended Boston college until transfering to UCLA where I graduated and took up a teach career in Television & film Production. Retired a few years ago and wrote a novel....Snow Shadows.

I am a writer working on a television show called FRASIER. I work extensively with Kelsey Grammer and manages his website...www.kelseylive.com

Father's name was CHARLIE EDWARDS, mother...MARY EDWARDS (Donovan). I have a wife, Dorothy, married 37 years. Two daughters, Tara and Tracy. Both married and Tara has a son Jonathan who is 9.

I have always had a passion for Cape Breton and in 1965 I returned to do my apprentice in radio and television with my wife and daughter Tara. The apprenticeship was for one year and I learned more in that year than I did the rest of my career. I was on CJCB in tthe morning before Ann Terry took over and in the afternoons I did a show called THE CHUCKWAGON SHOW. In my novel (snow shadows) I make Cape Breton sound like the Paradise it was and still is.
